It may take a few warm days for the butterflies to get going. I'm sure the 
wet spring and cold have led to high mortality of caterpillars. Today I had 
in the AMherst area Black and Tiger Swallowtail, Clouded Sulphur, Viceroy, 
Arctic Skipper, Hobomok Skipper, Silvery Blue, Late Spring Azure and many 
Silver Bordered Fritillaries. Everything is running late by a week or 
two....jim
