Thanks to all who contributed to the bear discussion which I initiated last
week. I'm leaning towards the bears' attraction to the pishing sound as the
cause for their unusual behaviour. Apparently, there is some discussion of
pishing attracting bears in the book by Pete Dunne, entitled The Art of
Pishing. If anyone has a copy of that book, I would be interested in knowing
if he does indeed treat this subject and what he has to say about it.
