Sunday, July 24, 2011  Hardwood lands Highlights

A young catbird chased a young swamp sparrow around!

An olive-sided flycatcher caught a big dragonfly in its beak to feed the 
young in the shrubs below.  I am sure the wings were removed first!

An alder? flycatcher came and went.

No sign of warblers at all.   I guess they are still busy with the young.

The bird activity came to a still around 8 am.
