Shorebirds I counted as the tide fell on Sunday, between the Bissett St. parking lot and the Ready-aye-Ready Bridge (approx. 3 kms) were:

Black-bellied Plover  1
Semipalmated Plover    263
Killdeer                    1
Greater Yellowlegs    61
Willet                        62 (mix of adults & well-grown young)
Lesser Yellowlegs      12
Hudsonian Godwit        3 (my 1st this season)
Sanderling                2 possible, in bright breeding plumage, but too distant to ID with certainty
Red Knot                 3, worn breeding plumage
Semipalmated Sandpiper    487
Least Sandpiper            12
Short-billed Dowitcher    263
