I just read on the NS Power /NS Museum of Natural History Osprey web site that a dead juvenile osprey found in the vicinity of the Osprey Cam nest of Ethel & Oscar is believed to be one of the 2 chicks that they produced this year. It is thought that the juvenile osprey probably fell from the nest. The chicks were named 'Hunter' and 'Fisher' and were just starting to fledge. A sad report but these things happen in nature.
