Hello All,

It's been an enjoyable morning watching all the birds and the Cardinals too, visiting the feeders in my backyard on this very drizzly, occasionally poring down rainy day, when all of a sudden, a great commotion happened and I caught sight of a Sharp-shinned Hawk diving into the brush. Didn't emerge with anything but it sure cleared out all the birds & now things are very quiet at my feeders.
So, now I know we have a Sharpie on patrol back in the green belt too. Just hope it doesn't clear out all the really good birds out there. But Starlings are ok.

Waiting for Tropical Storm Irene,

Gayle MacLean
