I hear quite a few Spring Peepers here in Antigonish County, mainly at
twilight hours rather than during the night or day. I have been recording
the nocturnal flight calls of autumn migrants this year, and I have found
that sound and the spectrogram of a Spring Peeper is very similar to the
night flight call of a Swainson's Thrush.

Hi, all-

We're charmed to have some vociferous Spring Peepers calling in the woods
around our neighbourhood these days, including a few quite close to our back
door. They call mostly during the daytime, strangely, and although we've
never gone looking for them it's nice to be reminded of their presence. Is
anyone else hearing them?

Peter Payzant
Waverley
