Although Red Knots and Short-billed Dowitchers have departed and numbers =
of birds are now greatly reduced there are still good birds to see.

Today the following were counted:

28 Black-bellied Plover
3   American Golden Plover
221 Semipalmated Plover
1 Spotted Sandpiper
41 Sanderling
20 Semipalmated Sandpiper
65 Least Sandpiper
3 White-rumped Sandpiper
27 Pectoral Sandpiper
3 Dunlin
1 Buff-breasted Sandpiper

Both Baird's and a Buff-breast have been regular from early September, =
the first Buff-breast having being reported by Bernie Forsythe.
