Subject: Yellow-billed Cuckoo

I had a quick 60 minute look around in my area after the rain stopped, but the wind continues to howl so almost all the birds are hunkered down.

About 100 metres west of the gate to the Chebucto Head Light there is warbler activity in the trees. There was interbird squabbling going on for some reason but mostly they just remained tight to the woods. The only ones I could sort out were Yellow-rumped Warbler and American Redstart.

At Duncan's Cove a beautiful Yellow-billed Cuckoo allowed me a nice look before fluttering its wings in disapproval and moving off.

Hans
