There were three Snow Buntings at East Point, aka The Guzzle, N. Grand
Pre this afternoon. I don't recall any earlier reports this fall but
this would be a normal date for a seasonal observation. These birds
were feeding on the dead marsh grass flotsam left by the previous high
tide early this morning, on the N side of the main E-W dyke. It was
truly brutal out there. I'll insert a non-bird photo taken 26 minutes
later at high tide, on that dyke, following my Snow Bunting photo. You
can see the flotsam they were feeding on in the second photo but it
wasn't quite floating when they were on it.
