These geese seem to be on the move today as I too was treated to a wonderful
sight of Canada Geese today, heading south-west. There was a lovely,
elongated letter 'A' formation containing ~200 Canada Geese passing over
the Zellers/Sobeys mall in New Minas mid-morning , vocalizing as they flew.
One wonders if they had been foraging in the Minas Basin and were heading
back to the south shore or were on their way to feeding grounds. Somehow
the sight seemed to be most appropriate for a snowy Christmas Eve.
