Happy New Year All.
I was testing a new camera today and  observed the following ducks in 
the process:

_Lake Banook near the canoe club and  lock:_
American Coot (1)

_Dartmouth Cove:_
Common Goldeneyes - 3 flocks of them - no sign of the Barrows x 
Goldeneye cross though.
Scaup - a small flock but too far away to ID properly as lesser or greater.
Red-breasted Mergansers (2)

_Eastern Passage at fisherman's wharf:_
Black Guillemots (7+)
Long-tailed Ducks (3) - with thanks to group of birders who pointed them 
out to me!
