Snow brings the birds - we didn't have any snow until it came on Thursday -
the birds came with it.
First was a flock of robins - the first we have had for a long time. No
doubt they are headed south - we usually have them every fall -late in the
fall looking for seeds.

Then we had our usual birds - a pair of beautiful male and female cardinals.
I usually see them about once a week - they have been around for over a
year.
Then there was a flock of purple finches - they will probably be around all
winter, but the snow is gone today and so are the birds.
Another small flock is the goldfinch - again, I expect them to show up
occasionally all winter.
Our chicadees are always here, along with some sparrows - usually white
throated.
Today there was one blackbird.
And finally, a number of mourning doves and a few junko. They both like to
search for food on the ground.

Roland.
