I had errands throughout metro, and brought my binoculars along.  A few
quick rarity updates:

Common Gallinule at Red Bridge Pond.  Present.  When I stepped out of my
car 30 Mallards flew in from all points of the compass -- they are
obviously used to being fed, and were disappointed when I had no food to
offer.

American Coot at south end of Bissett Lake - present.  Sullivan's Pond was
open with little activity, save for 6 Common Mergansers.

Redhead at Purcell's Cove - present with scaup.
