Hi all
While waiting at College St. in Antigonish this morning (Mar 4) to pick =
up a friend for a trip to Margaree, I saw a male Red-bellied Woodpecker. =
Don't think there have been many reported from the Town of Antigonish =
this winter. We had a nice flock of 20+ White-winged Crossbills with =
singing males in the Deepvale area near Inverness.=20
Also saw the Mockingbird near the sewer in Antigonish yesterday (Mar 3) =
before an unsuccessful trip to show the Fairmont Black Vulture to some =
Pubnico visitors.=20
We did, however, see a hybrid scaup X Tufted Duck and 3 Barrow's =
Goldeneye at the Pictou Causeway as well.=20
cheers
ken
