hi folks,
The "Kentville Ravine" is one of the local names for the beautiful, wooded
ravine east-adjacent to the Kentville Agricultural Centre.
For anyone unfamiliar with this area, the station is at 32 Main Street,
Kentville (Kings county).

Today in the ravine around 11:00 am, of note:

*Purple Finch* - singing
*Belted Kingfishers* - two, flying, chattering and interacting with each
other overhead (at least one female)
*Winter Wren* - singing (same location as last week)
*Bald Eagle* - sitting on nest
*Pileated Woodpecker* - calling

...waiting for the Yellow-rumped Warblers... and the Eastern Phoebe
that has been here for the past 3 years (at least) ...any day now...

cheers,
James.
