It has been published in various ways!

The information about the date and who to contact for information on the Spring migration
bird count is:

- listed on the Bird society website,

- members have and will receive this kind of information in a monthly circulated email IF we
have a working email address on file.

- included in the last mailing of NSBirds, I have received my copy with the mail on Monday so
I assume every member will have their copy by now or will have it any day now.
By the way this issue was the last issue of the 2011 membership year.

- the facebook presence of the Bird Society is also noted on the website, was noted in past
emails circulated to members by the president, talked about during monthly meetings in the
past and during the last AGM, and -as far as I recall- more than once mentioned (by Tuma
and other facebook participants) in postings on NatureNS. Members and non-members are
welcome to join, and -apart from its own dynamic content that is based on facebook member
activity- it is next to website, the emails circulated to members, and NSBirds just another
channel to spread information.

On the other hand neither NatureNS nor NSRBA are owned, run or organized by the bird
society. They are monitored by most if not all seasonal editors of NSBirds for the valuable
information they provide, but records and sightings can be "officially" submitted to NSBirds by
email to the bird society or via the NSBS website.

So where did we have a break down in communication?!
