Hi All:
=20
I forgot to mention that David Walmark and I the other day witnessed a male=
willet doing his thing. He hopped onto the females back and grabbed ahold=
of her head with his bill and attempted to copulate. The female not wanti=
ng anything to do with this looked very aggrevated and tore herself free fr=
om him flipping him off and went quite a ways away from the male. I was su=
rprised by the aggression of the male when he attempted to do what is natur=
al during this time of year.

Yesterday at Dayspring at the Marc in the pond there were about 20 few day =
old mallard ducklings. At Cape Sable Island today there were about 18 Amer=
ican black duck ducklings. I received a report today which suggests that t=
he bald eagle at Dayspring has hatched young. =20
