Wednesday, May 09, 2012 Goldfinch-Sherbrooke I received the same pictures from the home owner this morning, but was waiting for permission from them to give out the address. The home is of John and Jackie Silver, 8143 Main Street in Sherbrooke. The bird has been there since yesterday morning, feeding with its NA'n counterparts and shows up very frequently. By all means, it could be a cage-bird escapee, and a brief look on the internet shows some apparent self-sustaining populations in NA now. Today, Jocelyn Ellis sent me a photo of 1 European Goldfinch taken at the feeder of John and Jackie Silver along the main drag of Sherbrooke, Guys.
