I'm sure most have heard about this but thought I would give a link about
the wolf that was shot in northern NB which has been confirmed genetically
as a grey/eastern wolf mix, the first confirmed wolf that was shot in the
province since 1876.  As with cougar and some bird species sightings, there
is always a question of whether these animals were kept as pets and either
released or escaped.
