We too got to see the Little Blue Heron today at about 2:45 p.m. Many
thanks for the report, Richard! We rarely are able to get to the Valley
these days, so it was special to see such a bird today. After Miner's
Marsh we finally got to walk the trail behind the Evergreen Nursing
Home. Richard, you had given us directions a year or two ago, and we
had never managed to get there until today, so thanks again. It was a
worthwhile walk, with lots of warblers, Least Flycatchers, Bl-headed
Vireos, Hermit Thrush, Woodpeckers, etc. A really good afternoon of
birding.
