Toads are starting to show up here in Port Clyde. I saw 3 today and have
seen some regularly for a couple of weeks now.

Sandy

Yesterday and today, at low ride and high tide respectively, I looked for
that white pelican, starting at Pembroke and working north to Port Maitland,
without luck. Maybe it has pressed on.

Speaking of missing species, has anyone seen or heard any toads this year?
No warbling at our pond, yet and none seen in our neck of the woods on Wyman
road, near Yarmouth.
