Further to Andy Dean's query about Cliff Swallows=2C I have a little more i=
nformation. In Middleton=2C Frances Lourie alerted me that she had seen sw=
allows going under the overpass at Hwy. 101 in west Middleton (exit 18 west=
)=2C and I was able to check these this p.m. and confirm that there is a co=
lony of at least seven nests of Cliff Swallows there=2C and that at least f=
our of them were feeding young. I'm not sure where Andy checked=2C but it =
was probably either at the other 101 exit or the bridge over the Annapolis =
River on Hwy. 10=2C both of which have had Cliff Swallows in past years.

Another location where I have regularly seen them=2C although only 5-10 pai=
rs in recent years=2C is at a house just south of the weather station at Bl=
ue Mountain=2C Kings Co.=2C along my Gaspereau Lake BBS route. It is not v=
isible from the stop=2C so I do not generally get a good count of them. Th=
is year=2C checking the house as I went by=2C I could see only one or two n=
ests.
