The fello= w told me he was nervous to stay there so=0Akilled the bear although he pre= ferred if he didn't have to.=0AThey had dressed the bear nicely and it was = on a trailer before cutting up the=0Ameat and a crowd had gathered to look = at it so I joined them.=0AAfter a bit I said to the fellow "Did you weigh i= t?"=0A"Oh yes" he said "It weighs 325 lbs"=0AI pretended I didn't hear good= so said "Did you say 225 lbs?"=0A"No No " he said "325"!=0AYears went by a= nd the community especially him and his family were always=0Avery nice and = if we needed help they were always right there.=0AAbout 25 years latter I w= as at the mail box one day and the fellow was also there.=0AHe said "My hea= lth is not good and my time may be short on this earth. So in=0Aorder not t= o have to explain to St Peter why I lied to you I have a confession to make= !"=0AIt kind of took me back - nothing I knew of needed a confession so I j= ust said "What"=0AHe said "Remember the bear ?
