Hi all:
=20
Today I made a sojourn to Sandy Bay Beach and then to Western Head. I thou=
ght that after yesterday I could not be any more amazed by the numbers of p=
ainted ladies about. I was wrong. At the Western Head lighthouse in Queen=
s county in a patch of purple clovers I counted at least 400 painted ladies=
. There likely were more. =20

On the basis of birds Marg Millard earlier in the week had reported a weste=
rn kingbird at Western Head. There might have been one there=2C but today =
there was an eastern kingbird present jumping off from the guide wires and =
then back again. =20
