The more correct term for the "bubble" is the heliosphere, and the  
particles in it are formed from the solar wind and influenced by the  
Sun's magnetic field. When the particles reach the heliopause, as  
Voyager 1 is about to do, these come into "conflict" with the denser  
gas of the interstellar medium as well as the overall magnetic field  
of the Milky Way galaxy.
