Naturalists) met today at the Irving Ctr. in Wolfville. And after the meeting, at 2 p.m., the marbled godwit was there on the mud of Wolfville Harbour (and not far from the wharf) with at least 11 greater yellowlegs and about 7 ring-billed gulls (plus a large bunch of Acadia Univ. students who were mud-sliding and tramping at the ne. corner of the harbour without any noticeable effect on the shorebirds). But there were no ducks today in the harbour. The godwit was sleeping a lot, so we had to be patient to see that very long beak.
