Hi all
Just a reminder of the Pictou Co. Naturalist's illustrated talk on Tues. =
Oct. 2 , 6:30 p.m.at the New Glasgow Library program room. John Crabtree =
will guide us through the topic of "Wild Mushrooms of NS". John has =
recently been to the Mycological Society of NS's annual mushroom foray =
where he was heavily involved in the program. I took this from the =
society web site.

John developed an interest in Mushrooms almost 30 years ago and he says =
the only thing he loves more is his wife and his grandchildren, maybe! =
It has developed to the point where John now has a web site devoted to =
Mushrooms and also Wildflowers of Nova Scotia.=20

John has given talks on mushrooms and wildflowers at various venues =
throughout the province and has been invited by various groups to be =
their mushroom "expert" on "bioblitz's" and mushroom forays. Included =
amongst these groups are;=20

  a.. Nature Conservancy of Canada.=20
  b.. Nova Scotia Nature Trust.=20
  c.. Shubenacadie Wildlife Park.=20

  f.. Nova Scotia Community College.=20
John is a long standing member of the Pictou County Naturalists
