--Apple-Mail-163-852347035 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Content-Type: text/plain; charset=US-ASCII; delsp=yes; format=flowed OCT. 19, 2012 - I walked west on the Rail Trail from Palmeter's Evergreen Home parking lot in west Kentville for 10-15 minutes to access one of Andy Dean's favourite areas, Seven Bridges -- nice fall colours developing, and nice reflections on the cattail ponds -- one pair of flying tandem dragonflies (unidentified), and several hungry late-season mosquitoes. I saw another pair of flying tandem dragonflies (unidentified) at Wolfville Harbour at 1:45 (tide coming in and covering mud): 8 greater yellowlegs, 8 semipalmated plovers, 1 least sandpiper, and about 10 black ducks. Also I met Lunenburg's Kevin Lantz who was hoping to see the (marbled?) godwit like I was.
