Hi Eric=2C We are still unpacking so I'll be brief. But I feel I should res=
pond to your question=2C "The NOAA site is good=2C but why not use one orie=
nted to our area=2C originating with Environment Canada"? While I was cert=
ain that anyone wanting local coverage would check the Environment Canada (=
EC) site - as you say=2C discussion of the local conditions is bound to be =
more in depth - I did not propose the National Hurricane Center (NHC) site =
for that reason alone. I believe that the mapping and graphical coverage of=
storms is much superior on the NHC site=2C especially for comparitive over=
views such as I was proposing (in response to a question someone asked last=
week what could be expected to show up after the storm). As a quick exampl=
e=2C historical storm data from EC seems to consist of aseries of single da=
y snippets=2C while NHC has graphics of the entire storm track. It was pro=
posed as a fun exercise=2C but perhaps could be interesting=2C who knows. H=
ope to get out birding soon. Cheers=2C Larry=20
