This public lecture might be of interest:

Hilary Moors-Murphy will be giving a free public lecture at 7:30 PM in =
the auditorium of BIO on Wednesday, November 14th.

Abstract: The Gully is large submarine canyon located offshore of Nova =
Scotia. This area is a Marine Protected Area known for its high =
diversity of wildlife, including rare and Endangered whale species such =
as the blue whales and northern bottlenose whales. Hilary has been =
studying whales of this wondrous place for the past several years. =
During this talk, she will share not just her research with you, but her =
tales of the adventure, challenges and triumphs of studying whales of =
the Gully.
