Interesting Richard, could be. From where I observed it, the Marsh edge is
about 290 m away.
Incidentally, I originally thought I saw two NOMO here yesterday. But since
I was walking along the trail parsimony suggests I likely was just chasing
it along a bit; I did not see two simultaneously.

No spring arrivals (e.g., Red-winged Blackbirds, Common Grackles) were
heard from the trail near Miner's Marsh this morning...although there was
blinding snow at that time.
