It sounds to me like a bird that is dying - don't we occasionally see a =
bird like this ? =

I have to add that, when I talked with Louis tonight well after dark =
at about 10:15 p.m., Louis said the bird was still sitting on the power =
line where he photographed the bird back before 4 p.m. Jim.

Subject: [ValleyNature] all-white rock pigeon in Windsor behaving =
weirdly

Louis Coutinho in Windsor reported this afternoon at abourt 4 p.m.:

This bird has sat in the same spot [on power-line] for over an hour =
while I observed it and I understand from neighbours that it just stayed =
around nearby at their homes for the whole day. It looks to me like an =
albino rock dove but its beak is a little smaller than most rock doves. =
Does this look like any other bird to you other than an albino rock =
dove?

    Your thoughts?
    Louis

[Louis sent me several photos of this white pigeon, and I could not =
see whether there were any leg bands. Can anyone recall where to report =
rock pigeons that are both coloured unusually and behaving weirdly? -- =
quite possibly some pigeon-fancier's private pigeon? I can send the =
photos to anyone who requests them off-list.

    Cheers from Jim in Wolfville.
