At the risk of piling on with my namesake, David Webster, are not Honey
bees (*Apis mellifera*) not also a non-native species that may be
compromising populations of native bees? Perhaps they are even reducing
populations fo native bumblebees that are being considered for species at
risk designation by COSEWIC?
