My brother and friend just returned from their annual Keji/Tobeatic canoe
trek. He was surprised to see a Black Duck with ducklings on Keji L already
despite our late Spring.

The large numbers of Canada Geese everywhere really surprised them this
year (they have been doing variations on this route each year for the past
twenty).

Magnolia Warblers were also noted.
