This was a question posed by a resident of Beaverbank regarding the spread of Lyme Disease by the Black-legged tick and the association with deer, that come close to & frequent their fenced in property.
Their question was:
Is there any 'sure fired' way of deterring/ preventing deer from coming close to their property?
Suggestions used:
Human hair
Human urine
Coyote urine (know granular forms can be purchased)
Are there any 'tried & true' methods that anyone might know, that will keep 'vectors' of Lyme disease away from properties.
Thank you in advance for any suggestions.
