I was just sent a front on pic of the pelican ( I asked for that so I could
see if I could see a prominent keel bone on it suggesting a thin
condition). Looks in good flesh though feathers can hide a lot. That being
said, birds in very poor condition often have the keel sticking out like a
razor blade from the chest. No way to know for sure without actually laying
hands on it but fingers crossed.
