I have two questions for anyone that might have the answers.
1. These waterbugs are said to have some venom. Is it enough that it
would seriously bother a cat or is it just sufficient for small prey?
2. I bought some water hyacinths for the pond that came from Florida.
Is it possible that that is the source of the water bug?
