Hi Nancy
I was thinking Calopogon or Arethusa- both pinkish orchids. I have seen =
one or the other maybe both in recent outings. I have to look at my =
photos. I had a nice patch of One-flowered Pyrola in bloom in Brierly =
Brook a couple days ago.=20
In the West Pugwash area on Tues. I saw and photographed my first =
Bronze Coppers. Neat looking butterfly!=20
Black-capped Chickadees fledged from a nest box in my yard today. There =
were 7 eggs and all seem to have made it off successfully.=20
The Tree Swallows can't be far behind. They are noisy in the box on the =
garage.=20
cheers
Ken

Hi James
I think what you know as Snapdragons I know as Turtleheads (Chelone =
glabra). They are in the Figwort family (Scrophulariaceae). Foxgloves =
are also in this family.=20
We see them a lot when canoeing on Minnimaek and Milipsigate Lakes in =
the Bridgewater watershed.=20

On the fishing end, the trout were not taking. I raised a lot with =
