Thanks, Jim. I notice that Bev W=E2=80=99s website of moths gives the =
common name as Evening Primrose Moth, not just Primrose Moth. I did have =
two or three photos of the Folly Lake moths on the Evening Primrose, but =
they weren=E2=80=99t very in-focus, so I deleted them. These ones I =
found about 6:00 p.m. or so, and they were so passive that at first I =
wondered if they were dead.

The identification is correct. This is a moderately common moth but =
rarely seen except on Primrose flowers by day. It does not seem to be =
attracted to light like many moths.
