Have people been noticing many of the big black leeches that inhabit
our lakes? (Sorry I do not know the proper name.)

For about the past 10 years I have noticed roughly the same numbers of
these +/-10cm leeches in the shallow water near shore on L Torment,
Kings Co- not a lot but definitely present. 35 or so yrs ago we kept a
box of salt by the beach b/c we often ended up with large or small
ones attached to us. And they were an everyday sighting.

This year I have seen none.
