Everyone,

This has been fairly viral on facebook, but I've been urged to post it
to the Nature lists - I've dredged too many chlorinated bodies out of
neighbours' pools, and something like these should be required, by
municipal bylaw, in every vertical-walled swimming pool - "FrogLog:
Animal Escape Ramp for Swimming Pools - This video shows how small frogs
and other animals use the FrogLog to escape from swimming pools. The
FrogLog provides an escape ramp for lizards, chipmunks, squirrels, mice,
birds, bats, ducklings, and other small animals."

The website for the product is http://www.froglog.us/ - obviously one
could make analogous structures out of ordinary household materials.
