Saw the following: Three Fathom Harbour: Common Merganser - 15 Red-breasted Merganser - 2 Bufflehead - 12 Black Duck - 20 Snowy Owl - 2, one in the Rocky Run area, the other out on Wedge = Island, both being steadily harassed by crows. Northern Harrier - 1 imm. Northern Flicker -1 Grand Desert: Common Eider - 20 Long-tailed Duck - 3 Northern Shoveler - 1 male, in large pond along Hwy. #207 Eurasian Wigeon - 1 male, in same pond American Wigeon - 14, in same pond Gadwall hybrid? - 1 male, in same pond - had many features of a = Gadwall, but with some plumage differences and an all-black bill. = Possible wigeon hybrid.
