On a very brief visit to Grand Pre this afternoon I found a heavily marked juvenile Broad-winged Hawk perched on the power lines at the intersection of Grand Pre Road with Hwy 1.

Down on the flats were a few Red-tailed Hawks, eagles, ravens and numerous Horned Larks, but with little time to search I was unable to find any owls.
