Going in to Halifax today, a healthy looking adult coyote trotted across
the 103 near Timberlea. This afternoon a noisy pileated WP passed through
our yard. It always perches at the same spot at the very top of a spruce
about 70 ft high. At the feeders we have had the usual chickadees, Jays,
juncos and RB nuthatches. In addition we had a brief visit from a pair of purple
finches and fairly regular visits from half a dozen goldfinches during
the past week,
Heading for the sunshine and the Anhingas and Turkey Vultures. Back in
April.
