Important Bird Areas or IBAs? IBAs are places of international
significance for the conservation of birds and biodiversity. Learn
more about IBAs; Canada’s IBA Program; the birds, habitats (and
people) that make Nova Scotia’s IBAs special; and how to become
involved in conservation activities at IBAs. Sue Abbott, the NS
Program Coordinator with Bird Studies Canada, will discuss all the
above aspects.
