Very true Randy, we get lots of pellets. I collect daily from a great
horned and saw whet owl, 3 snowies and a merlin. Our crows also put out
pellets daily as do the eagles, depending on what they eat. I even have had
pellets from our great blue heron ( which we are overwintering here, no
mean feat!) when it first came in. I think it was desperate for food and
put up some pellets that were largely beetle casings and what looked like
some greenery. It is now on fish exclusively and doesn't put up pellets
anymore.
