We had a good time talking with old friends, and some not so old.=0ATh= e chief susprizing items was the reports of Striped Bass in the Northumberl= and Strait and the Gulf. Right from Margaree to Gaspe. Some anglers reporti= ng catch and release of 100 fish in a day. 10 - 20 years ago they were unkn= own or at least very rare. Very little scientific input into all this. It i= s thought they all spawn in the Miramichi.=0Abut they are on both sides of = the Canso Causeway so they must go through the locks.=0AJust what caused th= is explosion is anyone's guess.
