interesting note on Common Grackle arrival times in NB

Subject: Finally, Common Grackles

We have been recording the return dates for COMMON GRACKLES for many years.
The first few birds arrived today; the previous latest date was March 21 in
2010.  Typically, they have arrived as early as March 11 but more usually
around the 15th-17th.  Two AMERICAN ROBINS, apparently in migration, were
also seen.
