It was difficult to leave home this morning when all the birds were here
and they are still here now. When I did leave and start up the island I
began to realize how big a fallout it was. There is birds everywhere on
every lawn and all along the sides of the road the whole way up the island.
Junco's Song Sparrows,Fox Sparrows, Robins and a few Redwinged Blackbirds.
Hard to put a number on the total of birds but I would be very conservative
when I say many thousand.I have never witnessed anything like this.
Finally it sounds like spring regardless of what weather comes at us next.
